Rick Ochocki is the Faith In Action Kern County fund developer/organizer assisting in grant-related research and follow up, and working to design an individual donor campaign to diversify financial support for local grassroots organizing. A graduate of Rutgers University in New Jersey, he worked in fundraising and special event management for non-profit organizations in San Diego before moving to Bakersfield in December 2008.

Chris Ballard is the newest Faith In Action community organizer. A product of Kern County, he went ahead to earn degrees in Government and Business Administration at Fresno State.  He believes true greatness in life is attained through ones service to family, community and a constant pursuit of the never-ending search for truth.

Oliver Tan has just joined Faith In Action as the office manager. He has a B.S.in Business and Public Administration from California State University Bakersfield. As a student, he was the enthusiastic food sale coordinator for the Japanese Student Organization and food coordinator of the International Students Club. He was born in Los Angeles, but has lived most of his life in Bakersfield.
