About Faith in Action

Faith In Action Kern County is a network of churches committed to improving the quality of life for all families living in Kern County. To do this, we believe people of Faith must lift up a new vision that promotes a profound transformation of individuals, families, and our neighborhoods.

We believe more people of Faith must join the discussion regarding various concerns, challenges, and opportunities facing our region to offer a unique perspective grounded in our faith values of hope, love, and compassion for one another.

As a network, Faith In Action consists of many interdependent ministries and committees formed in churches throughout the county. A professional community organizer-- who provides leadership training, technical assistance, and general support --suports every Faith In Action church committee and ministry.
