In honor of the service and legacy built by Dr. King, Caesar Chavez and so many others, Faith in Action & the MLK Community Center invited all youth out to our “Day of Service” where we were dispersed throughout the community to different service sites, including the Bakersfield Homeless Center, Bakersfield Rescue Mission, Ricky’s Retreat…and more.

Despite overcast and windy weather conditions, over 40 members in the community came out to help on the day of service.
